Theresa L. Anderson, RN, MS, FACHE is a veteran healthcare professional with over 30 years of operational experience and senior leader experience. Her expertise as an executive nurse involves managing and administering hospital budgets, as well as leading and directing other healthcare professionals and serving as former CNO. Theresa’s experience includes increasing patient flow, improving relations among Medical Staff and restructuring nursing operations to increase efficiency.
Prior to joining our firm, Theresa served as Senior Vice President & Chief Nurse Executive at one of three hospitals that continued to treat patients throughout the Hurricane Katrina tragedy. As a result, she was listed in New Orleans City Business as one of the 2006 Women of the Year and her team was named the 2006 Nursing Team of the Year by Advance for Nursing.
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Leadership from John Hopkins University and a nursing degree from the Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She obtained a Master of Science Degree in Applied Behavioral Science and a Certificate of Advanced Management Studies. In addition, she is recognized as a Wharton Fellow and an American College of Health Care Executives Fellow.
